WE ARE COMMITTED COMPANIES, WE ARE CETS!

In 2025 the Bordes de Graus Campsite joined the seal of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism in the Hautes-Pyrénées. An accreditation that guarantees that our campsite fulfills criteria of commitment and responsibility towards the environment, the environment, the local economy, the legacy that surrounds us and our human team.
It is a territorial commitment that we have acquired with other companies and facilities that are located around the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and where we expect new members to join every year.

Committed to the environment and the environment:

Our campsite maintains one very reduced capacity, which reduces the pressure on the environment and guarantees employment adapted to the fragility of the high mountains. thespace is 100% integrated into the landscape, without bungalows or constructions that alter the natural morphology.

The absence of a swimming pool reduces water and energy consumption; you can swim in the river, in a natural environment and without artificial infrastructure. The meadows are pastures alpines naturals, without artificial grass, and are managed with the horses from the campsite itself, contributing to the maintenance of traditional livestock farming and the mosaic of vegetation and its associated biodiversity.

The campsite is accessible by hiking and mountain routes, which allows you to get there on foot. Many of our customers have not used the vehicle to come!

We cannot avoid the generation of waste, but we promote minimizing its generation and the recycling, reinforcing a low-intensity tourism model that respects the territory.

Committed to the local economy:

At the campsite, we work with criteria to support the territory and its economic activity. We collaborate with local guides of the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, who can accompany you on routes and activities with safety and knowledge of the environment. You can consult their contacts at: https://www.guiespnaltpirineu.cat

We prioritize in the kitchen and in the store local products made by local producers. If you want to know the origin of any product, we will explain it to you. We also have the Park's catalog of producers. Check it out!

Finally, we can propose you proximity activities and trails accessible from the campsite itself, so you can discover the valley without the need to take the car and contribute to a more sustainable mobility model.

Committed to the PNAP

The campsite maintains a close collaboration with the Alt Pirineu Natural Park and with companies accredited with the European Charter of Sustainable Tourism (CETS). This has allowed us to be a reporting company for the Park, since we participate periodically in formations specific to offer you visiting tips updated and appropriate to our reality.

Likewise, we havePark information so that you can get to know the environment better, its natural and cultural values, and safety and conservation recommendations. You can ask us for it.

Finally, we actively collaborate with the rest ofCETS companies, equipment and professionals in the territory who share the same sustainability criteria. This network allows us to offer you an experience coherent, integral and aligned with the conservation objectives we want to share with you.

We have committed ourselves to our environment, and you, will you help us?
